There has been a recent and dramatic increase in the number of new HIV infections among men who have sex with men in Toronto. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. In response, the AIDS Committee of Toronto — in collaboration with the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention, Asian Community AIDS Services, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, and the Centre for Spanish-Speaking Peoples' AIDS Program — has launched a new HIV prevention and education campaign to let men know what's going on.
