25 years - through Stories | AIDS Activism and Advocacy
Everything we've gained in our fight against HIV/AIDS, from protection against discrimination to catastrophic drug coverage, has been the result of endless activism and advocacy on the part of individuals and organizations. At the 25th Annual General Meeting of the AIDS Committee of Toronto, we invited AIDS activists and advocates to provide an overview of where we've come from, what we're facing today, and where we're headed.
Tim McCaskell of AIDS Action Now!, Renée Lang of the HIV/AIDS Legal Clinic of Ontario, and Angel Parks of Positive Youth Outreach speak about activism and advocacy in this video.
