Positive Youth Outreach (PYO)

PYO is a peer based program at ACT that offers a variety of programs to young people under the age of 30 who are living with HIV.

Many heads are better than one - it’s nice to feel you’re not alone when things look bad. We'll help you find out where to go for help, for financial assistance or medical information. We also provide a space where young people with HIV can get together and learn from each other.

For more information, contact us:

  • Email the PYO staff. (We want to protect your privacy - so let us know the rules for replying to your email messages).
  • Call 416-340-8484, ext. 281 OR ext. 265.
  • If we're closed or busy, you will get our voice mail system. It is safe, confidential and anonymous. Tell us how and when to contact you. We will be totally discreet when returning your call, and if you have call display, don't worry - our number shows up as 'unknown' or 'private caller'.

We are not just virtual, so you can drop in on us at 399 Church Street on the 4th floor. If you're coming from a distance, call first to make sure we will be in.
