Des conseils pratiques sur le REER - Présentation par Mme Mildred Jean-Paul, B.A., Conseillère, Services Financiers Groupe Investors.
Originaire de Montréal, Mme Mildred Jean-Paul vit à Toronto depuis plus de 5 ans. Elle s'y est installée dans le but de terminer un stage auprès d'une grande banque canadienne et a décidé d'y rester pour poursuivre sa carrière. Elle est bénévole auprès du Groupe de Professionnels Haïtiens de Toronto (GPHT), secrétaire de l'Association des Femmes d'Affaires Francophones de Toronto (AFAF-Toronto) et trésorière du Salon du Livre de Toronto. Mildred fait également du bénévolat au YMCA pour le programme d'arts martiaux où elle s'entraîne en taekwondo.
Venez donc pour bénéficier de son taekwondo financier !

Totally outRIGHT - Leadership workshops for young gay/bi/queer guys:

What is Totally outRIGHT?
Totally OutRIGHT is a leadership workshop series for young gay and bi guys interested in being healthy, smart and sexy trendsetters in Toronto.
What happens at Totally outRIGHT?
This is a thought provoking community building program designed to introduce young gay and bi men to community leaders, mentors and experts in gay men’s health, and for young gay and bi men to connect with each other.
Totally outRIGHT Toronto happens over four Saturdays in March 2012 and repeats again over four Saturdays in June 2012. We're also looking for guys to participate on our advisory committee. You can find out more by contacting Rui here at ACT at 416-340-8484 ext 264 or by email.

Support Groups for People living with HIV:
New group members are welcome!
ACT is currently accepting members into support groups for those who have recently found out they are HIV-positive, for those who have been living with HIV for some time, and for those who have been living with HIV over the long-term. In addition to groups that are open to those living with HIV from all genders, we also have groups specifically for gay men living with HIV.

GPS: A confidential group for HIV-positive gay men
This is a confidential group for HIV-positive gay and bisexual men where you can discuss issues related to sex and your sexual health. It is part of a research project, and participants will be provided with an honorarium.

ACT Volunteer Inservice Training - Harm Reduction 101

Harm reduction is one of ACT’s core values and it informs every area of service delivery. Harm reduction works to minimize the harms associated with certain behaviours ( e.g. drug use, unsafe sex, partying ), while respecting the individual’s lifestyle choices. This workshop is an opportunity for ACT volunteers to learn more about harm reduction approaches and to discuss strategies for meeting the needs of the diverse communities that ACT serves.
