PROCEDURE
ORIENTATION
The Human Resources Coordinator regularly conducts orientations and provides new employees with a comprehensive commencement package which includes all the current information required by the new ACT employee.
On the first day, the new employee's supervisor is encouraged to:
- explain job content, duties, performance requirements and standards;
- review working conditions, and pertinent rules and policies;
- provide an orientation to the policy and procedure manuals;
- tour the building with the new employee; and
- introduce the employee to co-workers.
