Overtime
1. When an employee works more than 40 hours in a week (Sunday through Saturday), it is considered overtime.
2. Employees must receive approval from their supervisor before working more than 40 hours in a week.
3. The employee receives time off (lieu time) at time and one-half for overtime worked.
4. There is no pyramiding of overtime or premium hourly rate or any benefits.
Lieu Time
1. Lieu time is to be taken at a mutually convenient time. If a mutually convenient time cannot be agreed upon, ACT may schedule the time off based on agency needs.
2. Lieu time must be taken by the end of the second calendar month following the month in which it was earned.
3. Employees may not accumulate more than ten hours of lieu time unless they have prior written approval from their supervisor (with a copy sent to the Executive Director).
4. Employees' lieu time is automatically calculated and displayed on their electronic timesheet.
5. Any lieu time accumulated by an employee which has not been used by the employee at the cessation of the employee's employment with the Employer, however such cessation may be caused, shall be forfeited.

NON-UNION/MANAGEMENT STAFF
Designated non-union/management staff of ACT receive five days of additional vacation per year in lieu of overtime hours worked.
