Purpose


To provide administrative, clerical and technical support to the Gay Men's Community Education Program.

7 hours per week
for months

Possibly additional hours during peak times of the year.


Duties


The Volunteer will:
The Volunteer will be responsible for the following duties:
1 - Assist in setting up and maintaining a Gay Men's Community Education Program filing system.
2-Assist the Program Coordinator in proof reading, updating and making minor edits to documents and/or correspondence.
3-Faxing, photocopying and printing of Program materials.
4- Dessimination and distribution of Program materials, information and community events.
6- Purchasing of Program materials and resources.
5- Other duties as assigned.


Personal Qualities
and Skills


Required Qualities & Skills:
- Familiar with administrative office systems and procedures: i.e filing, photocopying, faxing, ext...
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Non-judgemental and able to work with diverse communities.
- Willingness to learn.
