Purpose | To assist the Job Developers in the job search process through research and administrative support. | ||
Benefits | To gain hands on experience on current labor market trends and a better understanding of employer needs & have a better understanding of the job developing process. | ||
Time Commitment | 1.5 hours per week for 6Hrs/ months | ||
Duties | The Volunteer will: - Researching job postings via web and classified ads. - Researching job fairs and updating database with current information. - Providing administrative and office support to the resident Employment Action Job Developers. | ||
Personal Qualities and Skills | Required Qualities & Skills: - Pre-existing/working knowledge of researching labor market. - Experience with providing administrative and office support. | ||
Training Requirements | Volunteer Core Skills Training, On-the-job Training with Supervisor and/or other Volunteers | ||
