Purpose


To assist the Job Developers in the job search process through research and administrative support.


Benefits


To gain hands on experience on current labor market trends and a better understanding of employer needs & have a better understanding of the job developing process.


Time Commitment


1.5 hours per week
for 6Hrs/ months


Duties


The Volunteer will:
- Researching job postings via web and classified ads.
- Researching job fairs and updating database with current information.
- Providing administrative and office support to the resident Employment
Action Job Developers.


Personal Qualities
and Skills


Required Qualities & Skills:
- Pre-existing/working knowledge of researching labor market.
- Experience with providing administrative and office support.

Requirements


Volunteer Core Skills Training, On-the-job Training with Supervisor and/or other Volunteers
