Purpose | To provide support to the Bathhouse Counsellor in all administrative areas of program delivery. | ||

This position will provide unique on the job experience with the complexities of bathhouse culture within the gay/bi and other msm. | ||
Time Commitment | 5 hours per week for months | ||
Duties | The Volunteer will: 1. Update MtoMen Bathhouse Calendar. 2.Support on the administrative duties of each bathhouse counselling/TowelTalk shift ( i.e organizing palm cards; stocking up on condoms/lube for each shift; ensuring that there are sufficient program forms for each shift, etc.....). 3. Update monthly TowelTalk calendar at participants' venues. 4. Transcribing focus group recordings and interview recordings. | ||
Personal Qualities and Skills | Required Qualities & Skills: - excellent communication, writing and organizational skills. -.comfortable with sexuality, sex and public sex environments. - professional, responsible and reliable. - understanding of and comfort with a diversity of sexual identities and behaviours. - works well in structured environment. - academic training in sexual health or HIV/AIDS studies preferred. - excellent writing skills and an ability to craft documents with clarity. | ||
