Purpose


To provide support to the Bathhouse Counsellor in all administrative areas of program delivery.

This position will provide unique on the job experience with the complexities of bathhouse culture within the gay/bi and other msm.

Time Commitment


5 hours per week
for months

Duties


The Volunteer will:
1. Update MtoMen Bathhouse Calendar.
2.Support on the administrative duties of each bathhouse counselling/TowelTalk shift ( i.e organizing palm cards; stocking up on condoms/lube for each shift; ensuring that there are sufficient program forms for each shift, etc.....).
3. Update monthly TowelTalk calendar at participants' venues.
4. Transcribing focus group recordings and interview recordings.

Personal Qualities
and Skills


Required Qualities & Skills:
- excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
-.comfortable with sexuality, sex and public sex environments.
- professional, responsible and reliable.
- understanding of and comfort with a diversity of sexual identities and behaviours.
- works well in structured environment.
- academic training in sexual health or HIV/AIDS studies preferred.
- excellent writing skills and an ability to craft documents with clarity.
