The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) develops and delivers innovative programs and services that promote the dignity, health and well-being of individuals and communities living with, affected by and at risk for HIV/AIDS..





Purpose


To assist ACT's Office Coordinator with tasks associated office support.


Benefits


Volunteer will receive training in office administration and will be part of a community based social services organization.


Time Commitment


7.5 hours per week
for 24 months


Duties


The Volunteer will:
1- Stock, maitain and organize supplies in the mail/copier.
2- Assist in the purchase and inventory of all office supplies.
3- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
4- Assist in the coordination of room bookings.
5-Photocopying, filing, and faxing.
6- Assist in coordinating the repairs of all office equipment.
7-Other duties as assigned.


Personal Qualities
and Skills


Required Qualities & Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to see projects from beginning to completion.
- Dependable and trustworthy.
- Proficient in internet communications.
- Proficiency in office administration systems
- Non-judgemental and able to work in a diverse environment.
