Gay and bisexual men have many motivations for recreational drug use. For some, doing drugs is perceived as the “cool” thing to do. It’s also done to make some weekends more special than others (like Pride weekend). Some try it simply out of curiosity, or do it to enhance the music and the dancing while partying. Others do it to become more sociable, to feel a sense of belonging or connection with others.
Whatever your reason(s) for doing drugs, find out more on how you can reduce some of the risks associated with certain club drugs, like K, E, cocaine, GHB, crystal or poppers.

The Gay Men’s Community Education and Outreach programs provide harm reduction information to drug users through the Torontovibe website, and by developing posters that are displayed at gay dance venues and parties. Volunteers also provide information and outreach at gay community events and parties.
