SNAP!
SNAP! is ACT's newest fundraising special event. SNAP! is a celebration of contemporary photography and photo-based art.
- Live Auction: Donated professional works in a variety of photographic styles from up-and-coming Toronto photographers are sold at live auction at SNAP!
- Photo Competition: A central element of SNAP! is its community photography competition. Amateur and professional photographers will be invited to submit original works. Prizes will be awarded in several categories, including Best Photograph, Best Student Photo and Best Photo-Based Art. Winners are announced at SNAP!
- Silent Auction: SNAP! offers patrons the opportunity to buy works from the photo competition as well as donated professional works in a silent auction. This portion of the event will provide up-and-coming photographers and photo-based artists with exposure to the photography industry, patrons and sponsors.
- Reception: Patrons enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, with a DJ providing music in a striking setting.
SNAP! attracts an educated, urban, affluent, art-savvy and involved audience. Our patrons represent a cross-section of photography enthusiasts - including students, professionals, photography-based artists, connoisseurs and collectors of photographic art, do-it-yourselfers with an interest in photography and a strong base of ACT supporters.
