JumpStart for Newly Diagnosed
JumpStart for Newly Diagnosed: An 8-session group for folks newly diagnosed with HIV who want to explore how to navigate their diagnosis, health care, legal system, mental health & peer support. JumpStart sessions are information sessions by professionals in the areas of medical/pharmaceutical, naturopathic medicine/wellness, legal, and mental health; and Newly Diagnosed sessions are peer-led sessions for support and ASO navigation.

Wellness & Mindfulness
This is a 4-week group for queer folks where we discuss anxiety, triggers & tools to manage stress in a mindful way. This group starts on March 5, 2025 and will run for four weeks in person at ACT offices.

Aging and HIV - With Dr Sharon Walmsley and Bob Leahy March 19, 2025, 6:30 PM, at Casey House (119 Isabella St) in the Dining Room (Dinner served at 6:00 PM) The fourth and last ACT Community Health Forum on Aging features Dr Sharon Walmsley who is considered a pioneer in HIV research, and Bob Leahy, dubbed a ‘community elder’ among people living with HIV, Bob has been an engaged volunteer and activist in the HIV community since his diagnosis in the early 1990s. Both will be addressing the topic of Aging and HIV.
