Ways of Giving

Giving is at the heart of ACT’s work to support people living with and at increased risk for HIV. We offer a variety of ways for donors to make financial contributions that ensure ACT’s programs and services remain FREE for those in need. From wait-free counselling and support groups for gay men, women and young people living with HIV, community-based education and outreach, and our one-of-a-kind employment program that helps people living with HIV return to work, your donations have a real impact on people in the community!

A monthly donation is the easiest way to give in support of ACT’s work and reduces administrative costs, putting more of your dollars into action. Monthly donations are withdrawn from your bank account or from your preferred credit card on the 15th of each month. A cumulative tax receipt for your total annual giving will be provided in February of the next year.

Leadership Giving
Read More

ACT defines a Leadership Gift as philanthropic investments of $10,000 or more. Whether directed to a specific ACT program, or leveraged to support our ‘Area of Greatest Need’, our Fund Development Team will work with you to match your interests with the needs of ACT. Your Leadership Gift will make a significant impact on the current and future support for the individuals and families served by ACT. Donations can be made as one lump sum, or pledged over a period of time, which often enables donors to consider a larger gift than they thought possible. Most gifts are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

To make your Leadership Gift, contact Jason Patterson at 416.340.8484, Ext 268, or jpatterson@actoronto.org
