By becoming a member of ACT you help to ensure we continue to make a difference for people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV and AIDS in Toronto.
ACT members work together to support our Vision, Mission and Values. Together, they contribute to innovative and groundbreaking work in HIV and STI prevention and health promotion within priority communities, improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV and AIDS in Toronto, and working to reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination.
Your membership makes a difference.
By becoming a member, you help to ensure we continue to make a difference in the lives of people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV and AIDS in Toronto.
As a member you can:
- Vote at the Annual General Meeting on ACT by-law changes
- Vote to elect the ACT Board of Directors during annual elections
- Serve as a community member on a sub-committee of the Board
- Stay informed of ACT events and activities and offered opportunities to engage in our work through our newsletter, e-blasts, annual report, and notices of our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
ACT Membership runs from April 1 to March 31 annually. The membership will now be FREE to everyone and people will be ask to make a pay-what-you-can donation at the end of registration process.
The Annual General Meeting is happening on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 5:30pm at the ACT offices (543 Yonge St. 4th floor). Registration and food will be served at 5:30pm with the Annual Meeting commencing at 6:15pm.
Current memberships should be renewed in April of each year (memberships are not renewed automatically) and new memberships are always welcome.
